As a Nepalese American, I've always dreamed of building something that brings Nepal and the United States closer together.
Nepal is a remarkable country, rich in talent, culture, spirituality, and natural beauty. It is home to world-class engineers, doctors, entrepreneurs, and business professionals. It is also a place of extraordinary experiences, from the Himalayas and mountaineering to white-water rafting, jungle safaris, and quiet retreats in Buddhist monasteries or meditation centers like Osho, Isha, and ISKCON.
There is so much to discover, and so much that the world has yet to experience.
That is the vision behind Chalise House: to build a bridge between two places I call home. I want to help my fellow Americans discover the people, possibilities, and experiences Nepal has to offer, while creating meaningful connections and opportunities between our two countries.
